Canberra favourite, Sunset Cinema is back for another binge worthy season of films set amongst the beautiful surrounds of the Australian National Botanic Gardens. Bringing their signature mix of new release blockbusters, all time classics and family favourites, enjoy a film under the stars this summer.

Screening across three jam-packed months, there is a spectacular stockpile of long-awaited films including three new Marvel action blockbusters, Spiderman: No Way Home, Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings. As well as the much-anticipated new Bond film No Time to Die, Wes Anderson’s newest film The French Dispatch and Disney’s Enchanto.

And as we count down to Christmas, enjoy a week of all the classic flicks. From Home Alone, Die Hard and Love Actually, to a new release A Boy Called Christmas, get in the festive spirit.

Ensuring movie goers have the perfect snacks to accompany the summer evening, Boss Burger’s food truck will be serving up the best burger and fries combos, hotdogs, ribs and shakes. Or lay out your picnic rug and nibble on a grazing platter with friends, available to pre order, and pair it with the perfect wine, G&T, or beer from the Sunset Bar. But if classic is more your style, popcorn, choc tops and other movie snacks are available from the snack bar.

For those who regular Sunset Cinema during summer, you’d know you can’t go wrong with a snuggly bean lounger or bean bag for the ultimate movie set up. But if you’re new to the whole outdoor cinema thing, don’t wait until you watch with envy as others get comfortable and relax, and add on a comfy chair with your movie order online.

Opening their gates on Thursday 25 November, get in quick for the first weekend, or book in Wednesday to Saturday until February 26, 2022.
