Set to open on Bunda Street in early 2024, celebrated restaurant, Botswana Butchery has announced it will mark its fifth location in the Capital.

Apart of the award-winning Good Group Hospitality and with restaurants in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, Botswana promises to bring its distinctive relaxed dining experience in a premium atmosphere.

Featuring a menu created by Culinary Director, Angel Fernandez, it will showcase an exciting selection of dishes highlighting meat, game and seafood.

Starting with a ‘Raw, Cured & Smoked’ section, think oysters, crudo, ceviche, caviar and artisanal charcuterie. Then onto entrees, which will be perfect to enjoy individually or shared, followed by the mains, which we are told the true hero is the signature selection of the menu titled ‘The Butcher’s Block.’ This will be where the restaurant’s best meats can be found, sourced by the country’s finest producers. If it’s your first time dining at Botswana it simply can’t be missed!

“We are so excited for the upcoming Canberra opening and to be bringing Botswana Butchery to the capital of Australia,” says Good Group’s CEO, Russell Gray.

A two-level restaurant, seating 180 guests, it will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, a focal staircase, velvet chairs and a stunning central L-shaped marble bar.

“We hope locals and visitors alike will be impressed by the elevated culinary offering, especially the succulent meat selection, served inside our opulent dining spaces where you will want to sit for hours on end drinking, dining and catching up with friends and business associates,” says Mr Gray.

With multiple dining areas, Botswana will be perfect for any occasion, from long lunches to business get-togethers and casual drinks.
