Just when you thought Lonsdale Street couldn’t possibly lock down another crowd-pleasing venue, the team behind Hopscotch announces their new tequila-fuelled lounge bar.
Paloma’s – a tasteful Mexican-inspired bar and restaurant with relaxed Latin-style share plates, authentic Mexico City style tacos, and of course, palomas, will be sliding in just in time for the silly season.
Nestled next door to Hopscotch, Paloma’s lively yet no-fuss atmosphere is perfect for effortless unwinding and easy drinking for casual catchups.
Following in the style of its namesake cocktail, being 3 parts grapefruit, 1 part tequila; Paloma’s will be 3 parts bar, 1 part restaurant. So, if you’re looking for an after-work marg, chilled dinner and drinks, or a post-dinner boogie, it’s always 5 o’clock at Paloma’s.
With a big focus on drinks, the bar will boast an impressive line-up of mezcal, tequila, expertly crafted cocktails, shooters, local wines and a special Paloma’s Mexican Larger in collaboration with Capital Brewing Co.
Like Hopscotch, Paloma’s will offer a versatile setting, with both indoor seating and an inviting alfresco area, ensuring a seamless transition from day to night.
“We wanted to create a space where our patrons can enjoy high-quality cocktails in a casual setting. A venue infused with a light-hearted touch that captures the essence of a beer garden experience, while offering a more eccentric interpretation of laid-back vibes. Paloma’s perfectly embodies that vision ” says Owner, Nick Parkinson.
