As many Canberra restaurants and bars look for new and innovative ways to operate during lockdown, one Kingston bar is shaking things up by serving cocktails to people passing by.
Magoo’s Café and Bar has moved their bar outside in the beer garden, with a full cocktail and beverage list available to-go. Now calling them Lockycocky’s (lockdown cocktails), take your walk or picnic down to the foreshore and enjoy delicious takeaway cocktails like Aperol spritz, chocolate old fashion, margarita, mango daiquiri and sangria.

Open for just over a week, they have had a cracker of a start, with many masked up Canberran’s joining them for a lunchtime and afternoon buzz. And so, they have now opened the phone lines for people to call and place an order ahead of time.
Open Wednesday to Sunday from 12-5pm, catch Magoo’s for a lockycocky, as well are their full pub style menu for takeaway.
