Tegan the Vegan is an award-winning short clay animation film made by animator and filmmaker Marisa Martin of Queanbeyan.
The exhibition features sets, clay models, posters and extracts from the film. Based on Martin’s real life experiences growing up as a vegetarian, the film features the voices of well-known actors Noni Hazlehurst, Paul McDermott, Charli Delaney and Pippa Black.
Tegan the Vegan was selected for Flickerfest 2011, and won the Best Australian Animation Award at the World Through the Eyes of Women (WOW) Film Festival. Tegan the Vegan is part of the National Film and Sound Archive’s Main Gallery exhibition.
Entry is free. Open 9:00am-5:00pm weekdays and 10:00am-5:00pm weekends.
