Don’t miss this new event in Canberra aiming to raise funds and awareness for victims of gender based violence in the community.
From the creator of the Fearless Comedy Gala which launched 3 years ago and raised funds for victims of family violence – to be exact $100,000 for charity to date, comes this awesome new venture sure to make you giggle. This new event aims to highlight the inequity and danger women sometimes face within the community and unify people in raising funds for a very worthy cause. Some of Canberra’s finest comedians have been invited, both male and female, to share the stage and don a bra in solidarity against gender based violence.
CANBRA Comedy Gala will take place at The Street Theatre on 24 Nov at 7.30pm. All funds raised from the event will be donated to the Canberra Rape Crisis Centre. More info can be found here.
