Canberra’s most iconic foodie event is returning to the city this month for ten nights of drool-worthy Asian street food. Taking place on Friday 25 February to Sunday 6 March 2022, The Canberra Times Night Noodle Markets will this year see Parkes Place West Lawns transform into a vibrant Asian street food festival, where hawker-style stalls will be serving up unbelievably tasty dishes and bites.

With an exciting mix of popular local, national and interstate eateries, local legends such as Korean BBQ King, Korbq, Raijin and Donburi Station will be doing Canberra proud, cooking up a stellar mix of dishes from their menu. While crowd-favourites we’ve seen in previous years, Gelato Messina, Wonderbao, Hoy Pinoy, Flying Noodles and Twissto will also be returning to feed hungry locals and provide Insta worthy pics. However, we’ve been told there are more exciting stalls lined up, with more expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Along with live entertainment, dragon dancers and a pets-welcome policy, this year’s Markets will also feature pop-ups from popular partner brands, including a Dan Murphy’s Zero% Bar, an Aperol Spritz Kombi Bar, a Gage Roads Beer Garden and an Accor Hotels stall selling fairy floss, popcorn and coffee with proceeds going to charity.

Waiting in line for your favourite stall is now a thing of the past, thanks to Mr Yum this year’s experience will be transformed so visitors can spend less time queuing and more time eating. QR codes will now be available to view, order and pay for items through Mr Yum, with an SMS sent when the order is ready for pick up.

“The Canberra Times Night Noodle Markets are going to be bigger and even better this year with our stallholders onboard and our partnership with Mr Yum. It’s guaranteed to be a great night out of feasting for friends or families,” says Head of Nine Food Events, Venessa Cowell.

As always, the event will remain free, however guests will need to register for a free ticket online at www.nightnoodlemarkets.com.au
