Next Hair’s Adam Noble will fly to the city of love this month to represent Goldwell Australia in an international hairdressing competition, to be held 10 to 12 October, during Paris Fashion Week.

Competing against some of the hottest talent from 27 other countries, Adam will participate in the final stage of the Goldwell Color Zoom Challenge. The Challenge, being held for the first time in Paris, will create quite a stir as it shares the catwalk with Valentino, Chanel, Dior and others at Paris Fashion Week.

Adam will be joined by Canberra’s Madeline Rose Fein, who placed fourth in Australia’s Next Top Model (2006). On stage, in front of thousands of professional hairdressers and numerous judges, Adam will colour and style Madeline’s hair.

If he wins, Adam will play an important role in helping Goldwell set global hair trends for 2011 and will be a member of the team working on the 2012 Goldwell International Marketing Campaign.

To win the trip to Paris, Adam competed in the first round of the challenge against 20 of Australia’s top hairdressers, taking out the Partner Colourist Category.

“Adam’s entry in the colour challenge was definitely a stand out,” says Louise Chamberlain, Marketing Director for Goldwell and KMS California. “It was edgy, stylish and definitely on trend. We are proud to have Adam represent Australia taking with him years of experience and the passion for hairdressing that makes him one of Australia’s leading stylists.”

Adam is no stranger to awards. He is the only Canberra hair stylist to have picked up the prestigious title Australian Hairdresser of the Year. Adam also has been named by the renowned Harper’s Bazaar magazine as one of Australia’s top 10 hairdressers for the last 10 years. Indeed, Next Hair is Canberra’s most nationally awarded salon, having also won Australian Colourist of the Year twice. The salon has won no less than 60 awards since it opened its doors for business more than 20 years ago.
