A Canberra restaurant has been awarded the title of Australia’s Best Ribs Grill by delivery service Menulog.

Mills and Grills Pizzas in Florey scooped the title in the Menulog 2018 Summer Restaurant Awards.  The restaurant’s menu covers a range of cuisines from traditional pizzas to steaks but its award winning dish is the ribs trifecta of slow-cooked meat in a smoky BBQ sauce with a side of crispy seasoned chips.

Menulog’s Commercial Director Rory Murphy said with more 10,000 Menulog restaurant partners across Australia and New Zealand, to take out a title in the awards is a huge accomplishment.

“The fact that a local family-run restaurant is the national winner is a testament to the value Menulog brings to restaurants of all sizes and the real opportunity for local businesses to thrive with online ordering and delivery,” Mr Murphy said.

Mills and Grills are also known for their flavoursome pizza range which includes an Italian Meatball and Moroccan Lamb pizza.

Another local gem who specialises in authentic North Indian cuisine, Mirchi, has been awarded with the title of most popular Menulog restaurant overall in the ACT.

Located in Ngunnawal, the restaurant is known for its flavoursome Butter Chicken, the vegetarian Daal Mahkni and Lamb Rogan Josh.
