Brodburger is celebrating the opening of their Tuggeranong venue with 1500 free burgers!

Canberra’s iconic burger joint, Brodburger, has revealed its newest venue in South.Point Tuggeranong’s new food hall will open on Friday 1 March, and to celebrate they are giving away 1500 free burgers.

Coinciding with Brodburger’s 15^th birthday (100 free burgers for every year), for three huge hours, the team will be serving their iconic beef, chicken and veggie burgers from 5pm.

“We are beyond excited to bring Brodburger to Tuggeranong and be a part of The Point precinct,” says Co-owner, Sascha Brodbeck.

“Fifteen years is a significant milestone, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than by opening up this new venue and sharing our love for burgers with the Canberra community.”

Apart of South.Point’s new dining precinct, The Point, Brodburger will be joining other local favourites including Fricken Chicken and Phat Panda.

“We are just as excited as the rest of the neighbourhood that Brodburger is opening at The Point. Our new dining and entertainment precinct is attracting interest from visitors across the city, and is set to get livelier now that Brod has arrived,” says Centre Manager, Keith Woodman.

Opening in its entirety on Saturday 2 March from 11am with a full menu, the Brod team has revealed there will be some brand-new menu items exclusive to Tuggeranong, as well as beer on tap, and live music and DJs each week.

“We want it to be a place locals can come with friends and enjoy great food, drinks and ambience, without having to go all the way into the city. We’ll make sure we show a bunch of sport on the big screens and we’re even planning on hosting fun events like movie nights and mini festivals in the space,” says Joelle.

For Brodburger’s opening weekend, The Point will be hosting live music and performances on Friday 1 March and an array of kids’ activities around the playground including face painting, glitter tattoos and balloon modelling from 11am to 2pm on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 March. DJ sets will also begin at 7pm on Saturday and will last late into the evening.
