Canberrans are now able to experience the traditional taste of Italy, with the opening of Bicicletta this month.

Nestled next to Flint and Parlour in the New Acton courtyard, Bicicletta injects a much-needed dose of relaxation and comfort in the predominantly fine dining precinct.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the venue features true Italian cuisine and caters for all occasions, from formal sit-down meals to quick lunches on the go.

The menu, created by Italian chefs from Pizza e Birra and Mille vini in Sydney, features pizza and pasta, as well as other Italian-inspired mains. The chefs have been careful to select only the freshest produce from local suppliers.

The pizza in particular is a standout, with Bicicletta having specially imported a pizza maker from Italy to create the perfect masterpiece every time.

At breakfast, guests can enjoy an Italian inspired continental buffet or a la carte menu featuring omelettes and croissants.

The spot is popular for a relaxed lunch, with sandwiches for as little as $7.

If you’re in a hurry, Bicicletta features a hole-in-the-wall takeaway spot where you can grab a coffee or a quick bite.

For those who crave something sweet following their meal, Bicicletta’s desserts are must, with homemade tiramisu and great Gelato.

Bicicletta is open Monday – Sunday, for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
