Following last year’s announcement of a new fully immersive dining, accommodation and truffle hunt destination in the heart of Pialligo, Beltana Farm has revealed its restaurant’s open date, and its next week.

On Friday 16 February, Beltana Farm invites you to experience their modern Australian cuisine. A testament to the Australian landscape and culture, the menu focuses on fresh and honest food that is designed to be shared.

While as you’d expect, the menu will be guided by the seasons, diners can anticipate thoughtful dishes such as truffle farm hen egg with custard and avruga caviar, butterflied snapper with roast fennel, orange and capers, and Anzac biscuit cheesecake with Pialligo honey and whiskey.

A collaboration between farm owners Doug and Alice O’Mara and celebrated industry visionaries John Leverink and James Souter (The Boat House, Margot Bar, Armada Bar and Canteen), Beltana Farm combines the serenity of rural living with the pleasures of gourmet dining.

“Our hope with Beltana Farm Dining was to craft a menu that honours the richness of Australian produce, served in a way that brings people together,” says Leverink and Souter.

“This isn’t just dining; it’s an invitation to engage with food and company in a way that echoes the Australian way of dining.”

The farm-to-table menu is complemented by a wine list curated by Sommelier Tom Blakley, exclusively of Australian wines (excluding champagne) to celebrate the diversity and quality of our local vineyards.

Boasting a farmhouse aesthetic, designed by Terry Ring and Associates and EMVY Design, the restaurant features panoramic views of the surrounding landscape through floor-to-ceiling windows, grand vaulted ceilings and local stone features. Accommodating to the warmer months by seamlessly integrating the indoor and outdoor dining areas and then to the cool winters with a double-sided fireplace, it has been designed to allow you to take a step back from the hustle of daily life.

“Beltana Farm is more than a destination; it’s a celebration of Australian land, produce, and the joy of shared experiences,” says Doug & Alice O’Mara.

“We are very excited to have our guests join us in this journey of discovery, relaxation, and gourmet exploration.”

Bookings for the restaurant, accommodation, and truffle hunts are now open. Visit Beltana Farm’s website for more.
