Warehouse First Round Lineup Announced

Dance fans are in for a treat when Warehouse returns for 2011.

The first round lineup offers a tasty smorgasboard of acts from both Australia and abroad, including Deadmau5, Martin Solveig, Bag Raiders and Wynter Gordon.

The festival hits the AIS arena on Tuesday 26th April, this year’s ANZAC Day public holiday.

Thundermentals @ Transit Bar

Transit bar got its fair share of quality Aussie hip hop beats on Thursday the 3rd of February with up and coming hip hop act Thundamentals.

Local hip hop favourites D’opus and Roshambo kicked off the night with some of their own material, as well as covering some well-known crowd favourites by acts such as Bliss and Eso.

The guys wowing the crowd with their impressive turntable skills, also playing some new material that I’m sure we will be hearing a lot more of in the future.

Once Thundamentals hit the stage, they quickly had everyone on their feet.

Italian Food Festival @ Locanda

During February, experience the cuisine, culture and tradition of Italy at Locanda during Sapori e Saperi – the Italian food festival.

Each week of the festival will see a different region of Italian culture and tradition featured, from the North-East and North-West during the first two weeks, to Central and Southern Italy in the final two weeks.

This year in particular the festival celebrates 150 years since national hero Giuseppe Garibaldi united Italy.
