Fred Williams: Infinite Horizons @ National Gallery of Australia

Fred Williams: Infinite Horizons, an exhibition showcasing the work of one of Australia’s greatest painters, opens at the National Gallery of Australia from Friday 12th August.

The exhibition is the first major retrospective of Williams’ work in over 25 years. It highlights his strength as a painter and includes important large oil paintings and luminous gouaches that reveal his distinctive approach, often combining a feeling for place with a strong abstract emphasis.

This August, immerse yourself nine days of all things jazz during the Capital Jazz Project.

The Street Theatre and the ANU School of Music have joined forces to develop this brand new music event for the ACT, which will see over 90 jazz players perform.
