Foreshore 2011 Lineup Announced

Foreshore festival returns with a bang in 2011, with a huge lineup of the hottest bands and electronic acts from Australia and around the world.

Taking over the East and West lawns of the Parliamentary Triangle on Saturday 26th November, Foreshore 2011 will be a day not to be missed.

Headlining this year is Armin Van Buuren, LMFAO, PNAU, Ladyhawke, Afrojack, Gotye, Architecture in Helsinki, Boy & Bear, Gypsy & The Cat, Salt & Pepa, Stafford Brothers & Timmy Trumpet, Kid Kenobi plus more acts to be announced.

While you may not know the name, Justin Derrico has a CV to rival some of the biggest stars. The guitarist has played with the likes of The Calling, Tina Turner, The Pussycat Dolls and Beyonce. Most recently, he’s served as Grammy Award winner Pink’s guitarist for four years, touring the world including multiple trips down under.

Woden café a real winner

Canberra has a lot of cafés, some good and some very average. Ask any Canberran and you will hear it is very difficult to know where to go to get consistently spot-on café food at a reasonable price. It is even harder to find this at the right price combined with attentive, capable staff. So, I was delightfully surprised to find exactly this on a recent visit to Calibre Café and Bar in Woden.
