Paint and Paste-ups: The Tocumwal Lane pARTy!

Well, as promised, a great collective featuring many of Canberra’s best street artists gathered together on Sunday to redecorate Tocumwal Lane – a long-neglected part of central Canberra.

The atmosphere was amazing. As DJ Juzlo belted out tunes from a tent located in the centre of the space, around fifteen artists worked on ladders, at ground level and with each other to fully realise the theme of Superheroes, Villains and Sci-Fi across the many walls.

Girls’ Night Out at QT Hotel

Last week Friday, I received an invitation to experience a Hen’s Night at QT Hotel. The letter instructed me to pack my bags for QT Canberra for the following weekend.

Intrigued? So was I! Other than knowing that the limo would arrive at my house at 6.30pm, and that I needed to dress semi-formally, I wasn’t really sure what to expect…

Let me just say that if I ever have a Hen’s Night, I pretty much want a do-over of Saturday night!
