In the lead up to International Women’s Day the Canberra Outlet has collaborated with The CBR Woman and are joining in celebration of gender equality and all the achievements of women with their second Inspire event on Friday March 5.

Writer and creative director Samantha Wills will take to the stage alongside other successful Canberra bosses and business experts to share insights, strategies, advice and guidance aimed at empowering other women in their business and career.

Creating a jewellery empire at 21, Samantha Wills has taken the world by storm. As part of her keynote talk, she will touch on business, life and the lessons she’s learnt along the way, as featured in her brand-new book, Of Gold & Dust.

“Bringing together like-minded people in business has never been more important. Sharing our experiences, connections and networks to support each other as we all navigate the way forward in this new time. I am so excited to be in Canberra and know this will be a really inspiring day!” says Ms Wills.

Throughout the day get tips on balancing mindsets and mental health in a busy career from Lifestyle Psychology, the importance of branding from local agency Bandit Design, how fitness and food work together to build a happy and healthy body and mind, courtesy of dietician Georgia Houston and Personal Trainer Hannah Dhal, and a women in leadership Q&A discussion with local business powerhouse Renee Douros and other guest speakers.

“Through an event like Inspire, we hope to give women not just the tools they need to progress their business or career, but more importantly, the confidence,” says Canberra Outlet Marketing Manager, Claire Read.

“Our goal is to provide a day where women leave feeling empowered to ask for that promotion, to start that business idea they’ve been sitting on for too long, to take the necessary leaps required to propel their business forward.”

Inspire will be held at The Social Club and will run from 9:30am – 3:30pm. Tickets are $100 and include morning tea, a taco lunch thanks to local restaurant TERRA, drinks and a goodie bag valued at over $150.
