The buzz label amongst lovers of Aussie fashion is ‘Romance Was Born.’ The ethereal silhouettes, enchanted make-up and sexed up fairy-tale looks are the crafty concepts of design duo Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales.

The pair walked Romance Was Born Spring/Summer 10/11 down the runway last week at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, showing an inspired collection and hair and make-up so cutting edge, it’s making international news.

We’re not recommending you paint your face gold and swan around in layers of silk, but amidst the Canberra cold be inspired by the colour and innovation of this collection!

For a touch of romance why not try wrapping a long silver or gold chain around your hair as if it were a scarf. Spread out the chain to create several rows. Paint your nails in an outrageous shade and swipe one of Napoleon’s vibrant colour discs over your eye for an opaque hue that brightens up winter.

Napoleon Perdis is available at Gloww, Gungahlin.
