International Day at The Old Bus Depot Markets is a vibrant celebration of our multicultural community in Canberra.

Enjoy delicious multicultural foods and stalls with exquisite handcrafted products, and local music traditional dance groups.

Savour wonderful dishes such as empanadas from Spain, chicken stir-fries from Laos, samosas and Key Wat from Ethiopia, croque monsieur from France and real burritos from Mexico.

Take home food includes Turkish burek, Thai curry and stir fry pastes, French nougat, and real Indian chutneys.

Handcrafted treasures from around the world will feature bright lanterns and silk handbags from Vietnam, mysterious blackwood statues from Africa, hand felted Nepalese slippers and brooches, Persian hand knotted rugs, Umbrian ceramics, French provincial textiles, Balinese homewares and more.

The performance program starts with the Prosporous Mountain Lion Dancers in the morning and moves to Kokoloco, Belly Up Belly dancers, Tango Tango, Argentinian tango, and Drum Effect in the outside courtyard.
