The popularity of Movie Extra Tropfest, the world’s largest short film festival, continues to grow rapidly in the national capital. In 2009 over 23,000 movie fans enjoyed the fine weather, great venue and pre-screening entertainment making the 17th annual Movie Extra Tropfest the best in Canberra to date.
Each year the Movie Extra Tropfest receives over 700 film entries, made specifically for the festival. Film entrants are required to follow a few essential guidelines – the film must be a maximum of 7 minutes and must include the Tropfest Signature Item (TSI). The TSI for 2010 is ‘Dice’.
