Be delighted by the flavour, fun and atmosphere of Canberra’s national award winning markets – the Old Bus Depot Markets. Located in the Old Bus Depot Building on the Kingston Foreshore, Canberra’s only indoor markets have a contemporary urban feel and promise a truly sensory experience for locals and tourists alike.
On Sunday 20 June, the markets play host to Kids in the Shed, a day for the very young. And it’s always fun and noisy! Parents will like the large number of stalls catering for children, their rooms and their play. There will be beautifully handcrafted toys, original artworks for kids’ rooms, locally designed children’s clothes, exquisitely embroidered christening gowns, baby slings, doll’s houses, funky bedding and lots more originality for kids.
For some family entertainment, the kids will love Milo the clown who’ll be visiting the Markets at 11am and again at 12.30. And there’s even a jumping castle to keep the kids ‘bouncing’ all day long!
The Old Bus Depot Markets are open every Sunday from 10am – 4pm.
