With more than 50 outlets in Australia, Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar have revolutionised the concept of ‘fast pizza’

The uber modern pizzas toppings and traditional wood-fired oven mean that the days of ‘fat pizza’ are gone and quality in a ‘fast pizza bar’ is here.

Well not yet, Canberra’s very own Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar is set to open along Braddon’s Mort street, later this week.

The owner of the franchise, Peter, intends to fill a hole in Canberra’s ‘fast’ dining market by offering a ‘healthier,’ gourmet option, that he describes as ‘better than Dominos, but not high-end pizzeria.’

“We want to introduce a good quality take away pizza in Canberra that we just haven’t found there before.”

The menu is broad ranging, but Peter has his favourites, “the Peri Peri pizza and Vegetarian Supreme are my picks.”

Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar has also become the first Pizza brand to be awarded the Heart Foundations Tick of Approval for 6 of its pizzas.

Canberra’s own Crust is set to open this Friday, 18 December on Mort Street, Braddon.
