Belconnen Fresh Food Markets will be welcoming the ACT’s own My Kitchen Rules contestants Andrew and Emelia back to the stage on Saturday 3 May for a free cooking demonstration from 12.00pm.
In recognition of the Heart Foundations National Heart-Smart week, Belconnen Fresh Food Markets has teamed up with Andrew and Emelia to raise awareness of heart disease in our community and equip shoppers with the knowledge to create healthy, budget friendly meals.
Andrew and Emelia will cook Moroccan Lamb, Chickpea and Roasted Pumpkin Salad. All spectators will be offered the opportunity to taste the dish.
The MKR contestants will also be on hand to discuss their time on the popular TV show and answer any questions from the crowd.
A ‘Memory Wall of Hearts’ will be displayed in The Piazza where shoppers can buy a heart for $2.00 in memory if someone they know who has been touched by heart disease.
