Spring time in Canberra can only mean one thing… Floriade! People from all around will make the journey to the nation’s capital to see the magnificent display of flowers, entertainment and ambiance of the annual event from 17 September to 16 October.

This year Floriade has promised a display and line-up that is bigger and better than ever before. With over one million blooms, 192 portable planter boxes and thousands of lights – this is the event of the season.

As the world’s largest display of its kind, it’s no surprise that Floriade boasts an impressive schedule throughout the month. Included in the line-up is something that is sure to delight even the fussiest of event goers.
Nightfest

Floriade’s after-dark attraction NightFest will illuminate Commonwealth Park from Wednesday 28 September to Sunday 2 October. This installation will also showcase spectacular light designs, premium food and wine experiences, live music and entertainment, including a performance from internationally-renowned comedian, Jimeoin.
The Campbell 5 Spritzer Garden

What could be better than lounging around and taking in the beautiful atmosphere of Canberra’s premier spring event. Well, The Campbell 5 Spritzer Garden is doing just that and more as they open for three Saturdays out of the five, featuring chilled music, comfy furniture and a beverage on arrival.
Adriano Zumbo

The macaron master will be sharing his skills with event goers at his very own pop-up stall, displaying Floraide-inspired sweet treats.
Kids’ Corner

As per tradition, Floriade will have a designated Kid’s Corner including DIY flower workshops, visits from Reptile Inc and an obstacle course.
Dogs’ Day Out

On Saturday 15 October Commonwealth Park will become a puppy mecca, as people are invited to bring their dog along to Floriade to help raise funds for charity partner Guide Dogs NSW/ACT.
The Floral Emporium

Be inspired by bold, playful and unorthodox floral displays, entertainment and scent-sational workshops, brought to the event by Moxom + Whitney, Lady Larissa, The Floral Society, CIT Floristry and Interflora.
The Kitchen Company Tasting Plate

Pick up some cooking tips from some of the biggest names in the industry at The Kitchen Company Tasting Plate. Enjoy cooking demonstrations from Australia’s highest acclaimed Indigenous chef, Clayton Donovan and My Kitchen Rules’ favourite, Scott Gooding.
Yoga Classes

Immerse yourself in the season and take it all in with yoga sessions running every Thursday and Sunday among the flowers.
