Spring time in Canberra can only mean one thing… Floriade! People from all around will make the journey to the nation’s capital to see the magnificent display of flowers, entertainment and ambiance of the annual event from 17 September to 16 October.

This year Floriade has promised a display and line-up that is bigger and better than ever before. With over one million blooms, 192 portable planter boxes and thousands of lights – this is the event of the season.

As the world’s largest display of its kind, it’s no surprise that Floriade boasts an impressive schedule throughout the month. Included in the line-up is something that is sure to delight even the fussiest of event goers.

Floriade’s after-dark attraction NightFest will illuminate Commonwealth Park from Wednesday 28 September to Sunday 2 October. This installation will also showcase spectacular light designs, premium food and wine experiences, live music and entertainment, including a performance from internationally-renowned comedian, Jimeoin.
