After a chic makeover, boutique hotel The Oaks Ranch will officially reopen in Mossy Point on 30 September.

Providing a unique getaway not so far away from Canberra on the beloved South Coast, at The Oaks Ranch guests can unwind, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and explore the charm and tranquil beauty of the local area.

Keeping the rustic appeal and soul of the property, the contemporary upgrade holds a Palm Springs meets Spanish Mission style architecture, with classic arches, curves, timber exposed beams and thick stucco-clad exterior. The influenced aesthetic is also evident through the eternally cool combination of potted cacti around the outdoor spaces and an inviting pool. The understated interiors and muted colour palette throughout add to the property’s relaxed ambience.

Hosting fourteen newly renovated suites, soaking up westerly views of the stunning Deua Mountain Ranges and the hotel’s rolling green grounds, each are designed with a true sense of privacy. Paying tribute to the coastal location, the suites include handmade tiles, soft furnishings, relaxed finishings and some with an outdoor shower. While inside the room, details include Cultiver linen, Leif bathroom amenities, Maison Balzac glassware, Riedel wine glasses, Mecca Coffee and The Tea Collective tea.

More than just a hotel, guests are invited to explore the estate’s 300-acre rural and native grounds, play a round of golf on the 9-hole golf course, soak up the sun poolside with a cocktail in hand and dine alfresco on the terrace.

The Oaks Ranch’s signature house restaurant Arlo, open to guests and locals alike, showcases a vibrant menu of local produce and flavours. Looking out onto the terrace and pool, soak up those resort vibes while enjoying a seafood dining experience comprising of raw tuna with ponzu and bonito, tempura prawns with nasturtium, chilli and ginger and grilled barramundi with Paris mash and broccolini.

Backing onto the Tomaga River, adventurous vacationers can go kayaking or spend sunnier days at the endless nearby beaches boasting white sand and turquoise waters.

“I am thrilled to be at the helm of this highly anticipated relaunch of The Oaks Ranch. I hope to continue to deliver on our vision of reimagining the hotel and its offering, with the goal to become one of the most visited destinations to stay, indulge and dine on the NSW South Coast,” says The Oaks Ranch General Manager, Josh Tyler.

An ideal location for weddings, special celebrations and corporate retreats and events, the estate can also cater for your next event.
