This week, Ainslie’s Wakefield’s Bar & Wine Room will come alive with the dazzling entertainment of the world-famous Parisian theatre performance, alongside an indulgent French themed menu, for three nights of Moulin Rouge!

From 3-5 March, the intimate wine bar will be putting on a show, with glamorous cabaret performances happening throughout the night. For food, head chef Steven Jacomos has created a three-course menu inspired by French classics. From oysters, scallops with butter and French onion soup, to sirloin steak with pepper sauce and French fries, housemade gnocchi, and of course the delectable crème brûlée and apple tarte tatin for dessert.

Staying true to theme, the bar will also be shaking up two cocktails, ‘Martinez’, a classic cocktail made of Toms Sydney Dry Gin, Martini Rosso, Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur and finished with an orange twist, and Wakefield original ‘Green Thumb’, a mix of Absinthe, St Germain Elderflower, lime and cucumber. Guests will also receive a glass of sparkling, wine or beer on arrival.

As we’re told Wakefield’s Moulin Rouge is one of the many events the wine bar is set to host, keep a look out for more fun nights like this!
