As the sun sets over Commonwealth Park, Floriade takes on a whole new glow. NightFest is back from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 October, transforming the iconic spring festival into an after-dark playground of lights, music and unmissable entertainment.

From 6:30pm to 10:30pm each night, the park’s vibrant garden beds are reimagined with immersive light installations and interactive displays, creating a magical night-time experience for families, friends and festival lovers.

A Star-Studded Line-Up

NightFest 2025 is turning up the volume with a program of live music and performance that’s as diverse as the blooms themselves.

  • Josh Pyke – ARIA Award-winning singer-songwriter brings his lyrical storytelling to the main stage on Saturday 4 October.

  • Ella Hooper – Beloved Australian songbird with her dynamic five-piece band performs on Sunday 5 October, sharing her newest music with Canberra for the first time.

  • Cabaret After Dark – The KISS TEASE Cabaret returns to the Kazador Tent for an adults-only evening of risqué comedy and dazzling performances, led by comedian Peter Berner as MC.

The live music line-up also features local and national talent, including Bek Jensen, Chloe Parche, Jett Blyton, Sophie Edwards, Sunday Lemonade, Joe Mungovan, and Canberra favourite Rob Aspinall.
