Joining forces with four of Canberra’s local producers to showcase their incredible products, the Canberra Centre will once again host their Taste Local Festival in May.

Offering unique tasting adventures, masterclasses and workshops, Canberrans will have the opportunity to discover the flavours and passion of each local maker. Held every Saturday and Sunday from May 7, each class will be run by winery and distillery professionals and will give guests the unique opportunity to learn about pairing wines with food and making crafted cocktails. Then every Friday evening, shoppers will be able to relax with a complimentary drink and nibbles in the cosy set-up while enjoying live music from local artists.

We are very excited to see the Taste Local Festival return to Canberra Centre this year. The festival will give local producers and artists the opportunity to showcase their talents to the Canberra community in an intimate and personal way,” says General Manager of Canberra Centre, Gary Stewart.

Partnering with some of their retailers, expect to see Haighs chocolates in several workshops, freshly made mulled wine from Gewürzhaus and Betty’s Burgers in the Underground Spirits masterclass.
