On Friday 18 October 2013 and Saturday 19 October 2013 Westfield Belconnen and Westfield Woden will be buzzing with excitement as they attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most makeovers completed within 24 hours. The record currently sits at 720. Now, that’s a lot of makeovers!
The best part about it is you can be involved! Westfield is hoping to make fashion history by breaking the record but they are also really looking forward to being able to offer 721 Canberrans a free mini-makeover, including lots of fashion inspiration, guidance and a look at the latest Summer trends.
For the makeovers to qualify, each participant must be styled into a completely new outfit including shoes and accessories by a Westfield Stylist. As a bonus, each participant will also have the opportunity to have their hair and makeup done to complement their new look!
Karen Skinner the Centre Manager at Westfield Woden says, “At Westfield, we believe style guidance should be available to everyone. This world record attempt is a great example of how easy it is to receive quality advice on how to look good and feel great.” We definitely agree!
Over the two days participants will also be able to enjoy live entertainment, further style workshops, a champagne bar and beauty tips from Napoleon, Body Shop, Hairhouse Warehouse and Epic Hair.
