Great news! Palace Electric Cinema is celebrating its first birthday this Australia Day long weekend by inviting Canberrans to enjoy electrified discount $5 movie tickets for all movies from Friday 24 to Monday 27 January!
Plus, to take the party higher, Palace Electric will be offering free sparkling wine tastings on Friday and Saturday nights as well as Sunday afternoon. Presented by Brown Brothers, A Taste of Australian Sparkling will celebrate some of our country’s finest sparking wines.
It’s been a great first year for Palace Electric. Over the last 12 months we’ve seen a whole new swathe of film festivals roll through town. We’ve met Eric Bana, and leaned against that amazing bar while drinking Prosecco. We’ve gone POP! with a Roy Lichtenstein-themed evening and run from the extremes of Canberra’s weather only to be whisked off to far-away places on the silver screen. We’ve watched latest releases and gone retro – all with digital sound and light.
