1. SciNight
Questacon – Friday Night from 6.00pm
Sport pretty amazing. Even if you’re not a fan of watching it, there is some pretty cool science behind lifting, running, jumping and throwing. Join the team at Questacon as they celebrate National Science Week through a fun-filled night including heaps of great activities, and even an appearance by the Canberra Roller Derby League.
2. Devdas
Canberra Theatre – Saturday night from 7.30pm
Whether you’re a fan of Bollywood, or it’s an art form you’ve always wanted to experience, the Story of Devdas has been a stalwart over the last 50 years.
Now, after a successful run in Sydney last year, all the colour, energy and excitement of India is hitting Canberra Theatre on Saturday night. This will be an incredible performance with over 50 dancers and 400 dazzling outfits.
3. Bon Appetit Burgundy
The Boathouse by the Lake – Every night until 30 August.
The shimmering lake… delicious and gorgeous food… more than a couple of glasses of beautiful French wine… What’s not to like? Grab yourself a seat at the table as the Boathouse takes a gourmet trip through the flavours of France.
