Last Thursday, a collection of passionate Canberrans gathered to talk about what they loved about Canberra. Why? Because it was the launch of the OutInCanberra People’s Choice Awards, and we want you to tell us what you love as well!
The People’s Choice Awards is a great opportunity to think about the city we live in and the city that we love. You have taken your aunty and uncle to the War Memorial earlier this year, but we’re keen to hear what it is that you love doing in our fine city.
As with last year, there are five categories to consider.
– Favourite Restaurant
– Favourite Café
– Favourite Nightlife
– Favourite Entertainment, and
– Favourite Event & Attractions
So, what do you love? Do you have a local café where the barista knows what you order? Have you been blown away by a restaurant that turned out such a fantastic meal that you spent a week telling your friends about it? These are the things we want to know, and by telling us, you’ll go into the draw to win dinner every month for 2015.
But that’s not all, keep your eyes peeled for OutInCanberra’s People’s Choice Awards Street Team who are armed with iPads and are looking for your votes. After entering in your selection, you’ll receive an email with a link to your votes and a photo, which, by sharing across your social networks, will put you in the draw for another great prize – a $500 night ‘OutInCanberra’!
