It’s back! The OutInCanberra The 2014 OutInCanberra People’s Choice Awards is here again to pull back the veil of Canberra’s social scene and find out about what you all love best about Canberra. We’re constantly surprised by what makes Canberrans proud of their city, and we have no doubt that this year will be any different!
Yet again this year, we’re encouraging you to make your mark by voting across the five categories for the chance to win dinner in Canberra every month for 2015. If telling Canberra what you love most about your city wasn’t enough, then a year of treating yourself is the perfect incentive!
For those that missed it (or for whom another 12 months of partying has left memories a bit hazy), last year revealed a list of worthy winners.
Across the five categories, the People’s Choice Awards revealed the following faves:
Favourite Restaurant (2013 Winner: Smoque)
Favourite Nightlife Venue (2013 Winner: Honkytonks)
Favourite Entertainment Venue (2013 Winner: Dendy)
Favourite Café (2013 Winner: Adore Tea)
Favourite Attractions and Events (2013 Winner: National Multicultural Festival)
This year, we’re excited to announce a new partnership with Visit Canberra and the Canberra and Capital Region Tourism Awards that aims to further enhance the links between hospitality and tourism sectors in Canberra.
How does this work? Well, in 2014, you will be able to visit the voting platform and, while you can still simply big your favourites from the five categories, we’re using Outrate.com.au to learn a little bit more about why you love them all so much.
