Rush’s first solo exhibition ‘One Shot’ @ The Front Gallery

James Rush’s first encounter with a camera was as a 15-year-old, when he got his first point and shoot.

"Within a few months I signed up for a night time photography class and was in the dark room printing away," he says.

After graduating from the School of Art at ANU, the Australian photographer and DJ ventured to the USA and started a career which has seens his work published in Germany, Mexico, USA and across Australia.

Catch all of the action at Southern Cross Stadium when the Black ‘n’ Blue Belles take on the Red Bellied Black Hearts in the next round of the Canberra Roller Derby League.

The league now comprises of four local teams, who battle it out on the roller skates in the explosive game that is roller derby.

The next bout is on Saturday 18th June 2011, from 5:00pm at Southern Cross Stadium, cnr Cowlishaw St & Athlon Drive, Tuggeranong.
