For those of you heading to work today in Kingston panicking about that midday lunch meeting and not knowing the best place to take your guest – we have come to the rescue. For part two of our lunch special series we have hit the streets of Kingston to bring you the best weekday lunch deals in town.
C Seafood & Oyster Bar
30 minute Eat “n” Run Lunch
If you’re short on time or are not sure where to go for a quick lunch, pop down to the Kingston Foreshore’s original seafood sensation C Seafood & Oyster Bar. For just $20 per person enjoy a choice from three select lunch boards. Some of the meals available include pork belly, salt and pepper calamari and beer battered fish.
Not so little Spanish burgers
For just $16 take the time to pop in for a burger at Betti Bravo’s on the foreshore. With two amazing eat-in or takeaway options, enjoy either the spiced pork with sumac onion pickle, aioli and sweet potato fries with tamarind BBQ sauce or the Portuguese chicken with red cabbage, buttermilk dressing and kipflers with smoked chilli seasoning.
Lunchtime cheap eats
Whether you’re at work or feel like dropping in on the weekend, The Durham has a number of lunchtime cheap eats. Enjoy their $10 burgers, schnitzels or indulge in a $14.50 parmigiana or a $15 T-bone steak from noon to 3pm.
No matter which day of the working week you rock up to Little Brooklyn, the lunchtime special is different. On Monday it’s Burger Day and for $15 you also get a Boags or soft drink. $15 Schnitzel Tuesday is always a hit and Wing Wednesday offers up one heck of a hump day treat with 1kg of wings for just $15. To finish off the week celebrate with Rumpday Thursday for a rump steak at just $15 per serve.
Although The Dock at the Kingston Foreshore is always serving great food, we’d like to draw your attention toward The Dock Deals. On certain days of the week pick up a deal with a group of co-workers as a bit of a treat. On Monday look out for the two for one pizzas, Tuesday is two for one burgers and hot dogs, and Wednesday you’re in for a finger-lickin’ treat with two for one southern fried chicken.
