Free Comic Book Day at Impact Comics

The first Saturday in May every year, Impact Comics give away thousands of comic books for free! Printed especially for the day by all the major comics publishers, the editions available on the day are sure to feature all your favourite characters.

2017 Collector Pumpkin Festival

10am Sunday 7 May

It’s the perfect time of year for pumpkin – so the town of Collector is a throwing a festival just to celebrate pumpkins! Held annually, many local families are expected to make the pilgrimage to the small town just outside of Canberra to sample the produce of over 100 stall holders and participate in some classic country fair activities!

Groovin’ the Moo at University of Canberra

Groovin the Moo is upon us once again and the date has crept up fast with the Canberra leg taking over the University of Canberra fields this Sunday. If you are one of the lucky ones to secure a place on the field, get ready for dank tunes, a bunch of bangers and some great festival outfits!

Australia’s biggest craft series is coming to Canberra this weekend for three big days. CraftAlive is dedicated to craft including patchwork, stamping, scrapbooking, quilting, jewellery, homewares and food! 

Velvet at Canberra Theatre Centre

Brace yourself for a theatre piece unlike any other at Canberra Theatre Centre this weekend. VELVET is a party with an exhilarating disco soundtrack. Marcia Hines fronts a dazzling ensemble of acrobatics and divas in this sexy, spectacular and sparkling show that channels all the glamour and debauchery of the original Studio 54 nightclub.
