The annual Royal Canberra show is on again, and this year there are some exciting new features for 2018.
The year will be one to remember, with exciting new acts coming to the main stage. Some reimagined favourites like the Mounted games where the talented riders and their ponies are sure to thrill the audience with their agility and speed, ShowTime FMX motorcycles, the freestyle motocross daredevils and of course the fireworks will be on show from 9:30pm Friday and Saturday.
Fan favourite Ford vs Holden will also return – “two V8 utes, two professional drivers, two volunteers from the audience, one track. Who will reign supreme this year?”
The new act The Crack-up Sisters will be making their debut and are set to be a crowd pleaser. The Crack-up Sisters are bright, energetic and ridiculously witty. They bring to the stage a mixed-bag of comedy, whip cracking and acrobatics and tell the stories of the Australian country and its larrikin characters.
The classic and family-friendly rides, show bags and shopping will all be available, along with the mouth-watering, multicultural food stalls.
Tickets are on sale now for the Royal Canberra Show, which is held Friday 23 to Sunday 25 February.
