Melbourne Cup at Olims
If you’re looking for somewhere to watch the race that stops the nation, Olims Bar & Bistro is the place to park yourself. The bar and TAB open bright and early from 9am, with the bistro menu and meat smoker firing up for lunch.
All the action will be streamed live on the beer garden’s big screen, so you won’t miss a minute between sips. Whether you’re here for the sweep, the steak, or just the social buzz, Cup Day at Olims delivers it all.

Rockabilly Courtyard Concert in the Gardens
Rounding up the month on Saturday November 29, the Mercure courtyard transforms for the return of the Summer Courtyard Concerts series, kicking off with a rockabilly twist. Canberra favourites The Fuelers will take the stage for an evening of swing, rockabilly, country, and a few surprises thrown in.
Grab your mates, get your dancing shoes ready, and make a night of it.
