Have your taste of Chinese cuisine at the Canberra Labor Club as they celebrate the Lunar New Year’s beginning on Friday, February 12. From 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm indulge in the club’s three-course set menu with everyone’s favourites including san choy bao, Peking duck and fried king prawns. To celebrate the Lunar New Year the Australian Royal Mint will release zodiac collectable coins and host an activity session on Friday 29 January. At 10:30 am or 11:15 am learn about the zodiac animals, particularly 2021’s zodiac, the Ox and later create your own Ox coin boxes and decorate them with the Oxen’s lucky colours.
