Get ready to look up.

Seeking a creative way of celebrating the Australia Day long weekend? This is it. From 24–26 January, Lake Burley Griffin will transform into a dazzling stage in the sky as hundreds of drones take flight for an unforgettable visual experience.

Proudly parading as more than just a light show, SkyShow is set to be a storytelling masterpiece. Each night features two completely different 15-minute shows at 9:00pm and 10:00pm, combining cutting-edge drone choreography, breathtaking illumination effects, and a soundtrack that immerses you in the evolving story of our nation. It’s art, technology, and culture coming together.

Produced by internationally acclaimed AGB Creative and supported by the National Australia Day Council, FLIGHT is a celebration of community, connection, and creativity. Whether you’re a first-time viewer or returning for more from past years, prepare to be amazed as the skies over Canberra light up.

FLIGHT will be bringing the party to the ground too!
