National Science Week: Walks and Talks – amazing reptiles and where to find them

From cold mountain-tops to the sea, with or without limbs, smalls as worms or big as Komodo dragons – reptiles come in a big variety of forms, and you can choose your favourite.

Herping is the act of searching for “herps”, the amphibians and reptiles. In this talk by Jess Fenker you will learn more about reptilian friends from from the backyard blue-tongue lizard to the iconic frilled-neck lizard and the dreaded eastern brown snake. As well as discuss what makes these critters so hated by some… and loved by others.
