If your wardrobe needs a refresh, the Canberra Fashion Market is back at the Fitters’ Workshop in Kingston this Sunday 18 October.
From 10am to 3pm, the heritage-listed building will fill with new and quality pre-loved fashion, including clothing, shoes, bags, jewellery and accessories, with plenty of designer and vintage pieces in the mix.
Entry and parking are both free.
What You’ll Find
The market brings together everything from everyday pieces to designer labels you’d normally pay full price for. Stallholders are vetted before they’re approved, and only quality new or gently used goods make it onto the racks.
It’s a good chance to find something a little different for less, while giving pre-loved clothing another life instead of sending it to landfill.
If you want first pick, it’s worth getting there early and working your way through the racks before the crowds arrive.
Make a Morning Out of It
The Fitters’ Workshop is part of the historic Kingston Powerhouse precinct, and the building itself is worth a look, dating back to 1916–17.
Because the market is indoors, you can take your time browsing no matter what the weather is doing. Bring a friend, grab a coffee and work your way through the racks, then head over to the Kingston Foreshore afterwards if you want to keep the day going.
Got Something to Sell?
If you’ve got clothes, accessories or other fashion pieces ready for a new home, applications are also open for new stallholders. You can apply through the Canberra Markets website.
