Winter work weeks can drag, but Pub Choir is giving Canberrans a very good reason to swap the couch for a chorus.
Pub Choir is heading to Canberra with its Just Think About It Tour, taking over the Royal Theatre for one big Thursday night singalong.
If you haven’t experienced it before, the concept is beautifully simple. You turn up, grab a drink and spend the evening learning one song in three-part harmony with a few thousand fellow singers.
No Auditions, No Stress
There are no solo performances and absolutely no pressure. You don’t need to be a seasoned vocalist, or even someone who usually sings outside the shower.
Astrid Jorgensen, the mastermind behind Pub Choir, will guide the entire room through the steps until everyone comes together as one massive, slightly chaotic and surprisingly glorious choir.
It’s loud, funny and guaranteed to leave you feeling better than when you walked in.
Gather the Crew
Round up your workmates, lock in that long-promised catch-up, or just head solo and let the crowd do the rest. After all, the energy in the room is what makes the experience so great.
