Ladies night out at the movies

Enjoy a ladies night out at the movies and help raise awareness of Student Partnerships Worldwide.

At 6.00pm on Friday 11 June Greater Union Manuka will play host to a ladies double screening. We cant say which two films will be playing, but we can say ‘cosmopolitans, expensive shoes and four fabulous women!’ Can you guess?

Tickets cost $25/ticket (includes both films).

There will also be a raffle on the night, with 1 Sex & The City Movie DVD and a party clutch from Mania Shoes, Manuka.

Inner south dining, Thai-riffic

It is on one of Canberra’s first subzero nights of the year that we visit the Manuka restaurant, Baan Latsamy. Baan Latsamy translates to ‘Latsamy’s home’; after co-owner and Lao Head Chef, Latsamy Phimthravitchith.

On this chilly night, we are only too pleased to enter Latsamy’s welcoming restaurant, and are excited to sample her authentic and warming Lao and Thai food.
