The love of pastry began for Jean-Charles Sommer as a boy in France kicking around a ball with his two best friends on an oval behind a cake shop. Sommer and his friends used to purchase sweets from the shop regularly, the aroma of the cakes and pastries ignited a sensory sensation and begun his love affair for the smell and taste of sweets.

Brema Group Race Day @ Thoroughbred Park

Enjoy a great afternoon of racing in Canberra on one of the best tracks in the country at the Brema Group Race Day at Thoroughbred Park on Friday 27th April 2012.

It is free admission and there will be live music in the Winning Post Bar after the last race.

The snack bar, bookies and tote facilities will be available and you can book a table in the members-only Black Opal Room. Purchase a member’s day ticket for $15 and enjoy a carvery luncheon in the Black Opal Room. Table bookings are $25 and local racing starts at 12.30pm.
