‘A is for Alpine’ Australian Tour is coming to Transit Bar on Sunday 2nd September from 6pm-9pm.

Joining the band are dance-rock darlings and NME favourites, Clubfeet and singer-songwriter Georgi Kay.

Alpine’s indie pop is adored by fans all around the world with The Guardian naming them ‘hands down the best Aussie band we’ve heard all year’.

Local Feats

Local Feats is a display of local feature films made in Canberra between 1971 and 2010 and you have the chance to win a double pass to see one!

Throughout the months of August to December, NewActon and Canberra Short Film Festival (CSFF) will be taking people through the years of local feature films. Each fortnight they will travel through the years with the director and one of his/her short films. After a talk and the screenings, the director will be there to talk about the film.

This will take place in NewActon’s gorgeous little Kendall Lane Theatre.
