This exhibition will take you on a photographic journey. It features 56 photographs chronicling Elvis’s dazzling emergence in 1956. Accompanying Elvis on the road, in concert, recording, and at home, Alfred Wertheimer documented Presley’s meteoric rise in the year he catapulted from anonymity to super stardom.

The National Portrait Gallery here in Canberra is the only Australian venue where you’ll see Elvis at 21!
