It’s that time of the year again. From 23 April until 6 May, a slice of Iberia comes to the Capital in the form of the annual Spanish Film Festival run.

Touring the country is a slew of award winning and critically acclaimed movies which have seen a success both locally and internationally; some even to the scale of Academy Award level. Special guests, including Elena Anaya (currently filming opposite Bryan Cranston), will grace various screenings

MirandaSAKHINO’s Global Glamour

‘Go forth and be beautiful’ is the advice of fashion designer Miranda Seakgosing.

Miranda grew up in Botswana with an African mother and a Portuguese father, in a creative family. Her aunty was a tailor, her grandmother a knitwear designer and her mother a fashion collector. So it’s no wonder she was inspired to pursue a passion outside the corporate world. Oh, and did we mention that Miranda herself lives and breathes style?

This designer, who runs the independent label MirandaSAKHINO, worked for three years in the world of stats before leaving it for the world of fashion.
