This week the city looks forward to two huge US hip-hop and RnB stars, Ty Dolla $ign and T-Pain, stopping to perform right here in Canberra.
International hip-hop star, Ty Dolla $ign, is fresh from releasing his brand-new album The Campaign, and has decided to pay a visit to our cool little capital tonight, Wednesday 25 January at ANU Bar.
Ty Dolla $ign’s 2015 debut album brought together a huge list of collaborators including Kanye West, R. Kelly, Kendrick Lamar and Wiz Khalifa. His tracks are getting over a billion views, despite only being in the hip-hop scene for a couple of years.
And to top it off, a second hip-hop legend will be joining us on Friday night, 27 January, as part of his Australian tour. Come get low with US superstar T-Pain at Academy Club! His tour kicked off last weekend in Perth, and he’ll be hitting other capital cities around the country this January and February.
You might be familiar with T Pain’s huge hits including Get Low, Church and Take Your Shirt Off – songs everyone has partied to at some point!
The Grammy Award-winner is promising some huge DJ sets across his eight Aussie shows, as well as a few on-stage surprises. The hip-hop icon is preparing to release a new album soon, so make sure you catch him while he’s still in Australia.
