World Pasta Day falls on Sunday 25 October, and what better reason to spend the week working your way through Canberra’s best pasta deals?

From bottomless bowls and cheap lunches to pasta with a glass of wine on the side, here are seven places to get your carb fix for less.

  1. Bottomless Pasta at Amici

Amici’s Tuesday bottomless pasta deal is about as close as you’ll get to dinner at nonna’s house. Come hungry, because $29 gets you bottomless serves of the pasta of the week from 5pm.

The dish changes regularly, but the deal stays the same: they’ll keep the pasta coming until you’re ready to wave the white napkin. Bookings are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. Just don’t fill up on bread first!

Location: Amici Wine Bar & Deli, 27 Northbourne Avenue, Canberra City
Dates/Times: Tuesdays, from 5pm
Price/Booking: $29 per person. Book here.

  1. Mr Pasta

Mr Pasta is proof that a great bowl of pasta doesn’t have to cost too much.

They keep things simple. Pick your pasta, choose your sauce and build your bowl, with options starting from just $9.90. There are classics like Napolitana, carbonara and Bolognese, alongside pesto, mac and cheese, butter chicken and plenty more. Gluten-free pasta is available too.
